The Specialty Coffee Association announced today that Tracy Ging has stepped down from the SCA Board of Directors. Tracy has made a remarkable contribution to the SCA, first with five critical years on staff, and then with another six years as a board member where she was integral in the unification of SCA. We would like to thank Tracy for her service to the association and leadership on the board.
Current SCA Board Director Colleen Anunu has been elected by the board to replace Ging’s position as 2nd Vice President. Colleen’s previous 2 years serving on the SCAA Board of Directors, as well as her work to date with the SCA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Task Force, SCA Finance Committee, as well as participation in the core group for the Price Crisis Response Initiative will be an asset to the SCA Board Officers.
The Board Director seat vacancy created by Tracy’s resignation will remain open until next round of SCA Board of Director elections. Nominations for the 2019 SCA Board of Directors will open in the coming months.
