The Roasters Guild and Barista Guild of America have organized an Origin Trip to Costa Rica from February 18-25, 2018 – all members and interested coffee professionals are invited to register. Attendees will learn about different aspects of the coffee supply chain and get a look at some of the most cutting edge coffee production techniques in Costa Rica. The group will also visit some local cafes and get a taste of the coffee culture in this remarkable country. In addition, this trip will provide an opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow members on both a personal and professional level.
What’s on the Itinerary?
This trip will showcase coffee production and post-harvest activities, as well as the opportunity to cup a wide selection of coffees from the coffee growing regions of Costa Rica and learn more about different varieties of coffee. It will include visits to:

What’s Included with Registration?
The registration fee includes 7 nights lodging including hotel taxes and service charges, at least two meals per day, all ground transportation, and all guides and tours. Early bird registration will save you $200, so be sure to sign up before December 30th.
Attendees are responsible for reservation and payment of their own flight arrangements into and out of San Juan, Costa Rica – Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO).
