U.S. Coffee Professionals: Become Authorized SCA Trainers this November

The Authorized SCA Trainer (AST) Course will be held for the first time in the United States—at the SCA office in Santa Ana, CA—on November 15 & 16, 2017. This is a 2-day intensive course geared toward those who are interested in teaching the SCA Coffee Skills Program (CSP) at either an Authorized Training Venue (ATV) or Premier Training Campus (PTC). Learn how to announce and run a course, prepare lesson plans and teaching materials based upon SCA curriculum and more.

Upon completion of this course and a Module professional course, graduates earn the AST License (term for 3 years).*

Course tuition includes a 3-year AST license and SCA membership and costs $1800 USD plus $240 per certifier license. Adding an extra module costs $240 USD. Course tuition does not include travel or lodging costs.

*All trainers must have completed an Intermediate and Professional course in order to qualify for an AST license.  Students who hold SCAA certificates can determine whether they have earned an intermediate certificate in the new SCA system by viewing the certificate equivalency chart here
